About Me
I'm Sandra Salsbury, a children's book author and illustrator!
I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, where I received a BFA and MFA in illustration from the Academy of Art University.
I am the author/illustrator of BEST FRIEND IN THE WHOLE WORLD (Peachtree 2021) and SPRECKLE'S SNACK SURPRISE (Peachtree 2023), as well as the illustrator of various other books. I live in Berkeley with my husband, daughter, and numerous house plants. The chickens live next door.
I am available to illustrate board books, picture books, middle grade novels, and graphic novels. I am not currently available for self-published projects.
